Created as Kinamic's first official Milan edition for Esxence 2026, Oud Amalfi is not simply an exploration of oud perfumery — it is Kinamic's tribute to the forgotten dialogue between Arabia and the Mediterranean world. A time when smoke, spice, citrus, wood and florals travelled together across ancient sea routes long before perfumery became industrialized.

Modern perfumery often seeks perfection through control, uniformity and repetition. Oud Amalfi was created through the opposite philosophy. Built around aged natural materials that refuse to behave predictably, the fragrance was composed to feel alive — evolving differently through every stage rather than remaining static and engineered.

The result is something intentionally difficult to categorize. Neither traditionally Arabian. Nor conventionally European. Instead, Oud Amalfi moves between both worlds effortlessly.

Bright Mediterranean air slowly darkens into tobacco-stained interiors, warm spice markets, polished woods, sea salt, smoke and aged oud resting beneath layers of quiet opulence.

Fragrances like Oud Amalfi are becoming increasingly rare — not only due to the disappearance of materials, but because modern perfumery no longer allows compositions to take these kinds of artistic risks. This is not an oud created for mass approval. It was created for the few who understand the emotional weight of true artisanal perfumery. The kind of fragrance collectors spend years searching for once it disappears.
